At Exotics Source, we specialize in the shipping of exotic animals, dry goods, enclosures, and merchandise throughout the United States. Our top priority is ensuring that your order arrives safely, securely, and in a timely manner.

Weekly Shipping Schedule
We aim to ship orders each Tuesday for Thursday arrival, weather permitting. Orders placed by Monday night will be included in that week’s shipment. We reserve the right to delay shipping due to unsafe weather conditions, typically when temperatures are below 40°F or above 90°F during transit.

Shipping Methods
Reptiles and amphibians are shipped via FedEx Priority Overnight.
Invertebrates and spiders are shipped via FedEx 2-Day.
Dry goods and enclosures are shipped using USPS, UPS, or FedEx based on destination and item type.
Merchandise is sometimes fulfilled by third-party partners and may ship separately from other items in your order.

Live Animal Shipping & Live Arrival Guarantee
We only guarantee live arrival for orders held for pickup at the customer’s nearest FedEx hub. Live arrival is not guaranteed for home delivery due to factors beyond our control. Customers must pick up held packages promptly and notify us within one hour of the FedEx pickup timestamp in the event of a DOA (Dead on Arrival). Clear photo or video evidence is required. If a DOA claim is approved, a replacement animal will be sent. Shipping costs for replacements must be paid by the customer.

72-Hour Health Guarantee
If an animal passes within 72 hours of pickup from a FedEx hub, we offer a free replacement, provided the customer submits photo or video proof. Shipping is the responsibility of the customer. This health guarantee does not apply to home deliveries.

Dry Goods and Merchandise
Dry goods typically ship within 1 to 3 business days.
Merchandise may take 5 to 10 business days to fulfill.
Items may arrive in multiple shipments and from different locations. Tracking information will be provided for each package when available.

Split Shipments
In some cases, your order may be shipped in multiple packages from different fulfillment centers in order to complete your order as quickly as possible.

Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the delivery address, method, and contents of the order. All live animal shipping rates reflect actual FedEx charges for their respective services.

Incorrect Addresses and Delivery Issues
Please double-check your shipping address before finalizing your order. We are not responsible for packages lost or delayed due to incorrect or incomplete address information provided at checkout.

Refunds and Returns
All sales are final. We do not offer refunds or accept returns for live animals, dry goods, or merchandise. The only exceptions are cases of approved DOA claims or damage during transit as outlined above. Replacements will be provided in those cases, with shipping paid by the customer.
